Minister of Health to Deliver Keynote at CMS Industry Indaba 2026

The response to the CMS Industry Indaba 2026 has been overwhelming, with seats filling quickly as the industry prepares to come together for this highly anticipated gathering.

We are honoured to announce that:

The Minister of Health, Dr Aaron Motsoaledi, will deliver the keynote address on Day 1 of the CMS Industry Indaba 2026.

In what promises to be one of the most anticipated moments of the event, the Minister will address industry stakeholders on the Section 59 Report and the regulatory path forward since its release. This will include the implications of the recently published Circular 10 of 2026, which sets out the implementation of long-awaited directives, transitional expectations, and sector-wide corrections for schemes, administrators, healthcare providers, and beneficiaries alike.

For an industry that has watched, debated, and anticipated every development around Section 59, this keynote is a watershed moment that will signal the direction of the sector for years to come. Stakeholders will have an opportunity to hear first-hand the National Department of Health’s (NDoH) strategy and policy direction, upcoming changes, and the steps the industry must take to align with new directives.
