Circular 5 of 2026: Imposition of levies for Medical Schemes 2026/27

The Council for Medical Schemes (CMS) has published, on 20 February 2026, a general notice in Government Gazette 54177 on the imposition of levies on medical schemes for the 2026/27 financial year.

The current levy being imposed is at the rate determined in the previous levy year. Once approval has been received from the relevant authorities for the new levy, a notice indicating the adjustment will be published.
