Circular 11 of 2026: Healthcare Utilisation Annual Statutory Return 2024/2025
The purpose of this circular is to inform stakeholders about the submission of the Healthcare Utilisation Annual Statutory Returns (HUASR) for 2026.
The ASR Healthcare Utilisation system will become operational from 17 April 2026. Medical schemes are required to submit data by the deadline listed in the table below. In order to limit traffic on the system, data officers will be required to load schemes’ data on specifically assigned days. The submission schedule will be shared with data officers once finalised. Data officers who require a change to the dates assigned to their scheme are requested to engage the Council for Medical Schemes (CMS) before commencement of the submission period, which is 17 April 2026.
Medical schemes should take note of the following crucial data submission deadlines, which are intended to allow them sufficient time to compile the data and ensure accurate and complete submissions:
