A standout moment of the Indaba is the Gala Dinner on Day 1- 13 May 2026!
This formal black-tie event promises to be an evening of elegance, bringing together leaders across regulation, policy, academia, and industry in a refined setting designed for reflection and high-level engagement.
The evening will feature:
- A keynote address by retired Chief Justice Sandile Ngcobo on Regulation, Fairness and Sustainability in South Africa’s Health System. Justice Ngcobo, who chaired the Health Market Inquiry, has played a significant role in shaping national dialogue on competition, pricing, and fairness in the healthcare sector.
- The presentation of a prestigious research award in honour of the late Prof Lungile Pepeta, celebrating excellence in advancing evidence-based regulation and innovation
