The CMS, as the statutory regulator of the medical schemes industry established under the Medical Schemes Act 131 of 1998, remains fully committed to protecting the interests of beneficiaries, ensuring that all schemes operate in a manner that is financially sound, well-governed, and compliant with legislative obligations.
