Circular 9 of 2021: Proposed amalgamation between Discovery Health Medical Scheme & Quantum Medical Society: 1 April 2021

Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 63(4) & (5) of the Medical Schemes Act (131 of 1998) that the exposition document of the proposed amalgamation between Discovery Health Medical Scheme and Quantum Medical Aid Society will lie open for inspection and written comments/objections for a period of 42 days from 1 February 2021 to 30 March 2021 at:

2. Discovery Health Medical Scheme’s website, here.
3. Quantum Medical Aid Society’s website, here.

Any person having interest in the proposed amalgamation may lodge objections and/or comments in writing to:

1. The Registrar of Medical Schemes, information@medicalschemes.co.za
2. The Principal Officer, Discovery Health Medical Scheme, CharlotteM5@discovery.co.za ; and
3. The Principal Officer, Quantum Medical Aid Society, natasha@bidvest.co.za

All written objections must reach the abovementioned offices by no later than 30 March 2021.
