Circular 3 of 2023: CMS Development Programme for Trustees
Due to popular demand, the Council for Medical Schemes (CMS) has decided to postpone the second launch of the Development Programme for Trustees to Thursday, 23 February 2023, at GIBS Business School.
The Trustee Development Programme is designed for trustees and delegates who have attended the CMS’ Induction Training for Trustees, the CMS Accredited Skills Programme or equivalent. Attendance is on a first-come, first-served basis, and the new dates are as follows:
- 23 – 24 February 2023: Launch & Module 1 and 2
- 23 – 24 March 2023: Module 3
- 20 – 21 April 2023 Module 4 & Certification
The cost remains at R21 426.00 per delegate. The programme will cover, amongst others, the following topics:
- Ethical leadership amidst corruption
- Purpose-driven leadership and governance.
- Changing the monologue: Overcoming imposter syndrome to become a better leader
- Leading through change and disruptions:
- The role of collaboration during the COVID-19 period (lessons learnt)
