Circular 16 of 2023: Annual Return System status update and extensions

The Council for Medical Schemes (CMS) is in the process of finalising the testing of the 2022 Annual Return System.

Due to the delays caused by IT system issues in the go-live process, the CMS will grant an extension to both the Annual Returns and the scheme Annual Financial Statements submission deadlines.

It is currently proposed that a four (4) week period be granted from the date of the system’s go-live.

Further details on exact revised submission deadlines will be provided when the system is ready to go live.
