Trustee Training for Restricted Schemes 2021

The Council for Medical Schemes will for the first time be hosting a “Trustee Training for Restricted Schemes”. The training objective is to empower Trustees with information that will enable them to perform their fiduciary duties in line with the Medical Schemes Act (Act 131 of 1998) and accompanying regulations.

Please note that the topics to be discussed will be tailor made for restricted schemes. Webinars for open schemes will be hosted later in the year. These programmes will serve as pre-requisites to register for the “Advanced Programme for Trustees” which will be hosted in partnership with an identified Institution of Higher Learning.
