Advanced Broker Training

The Council for Medical Schemes (CMS) will be hosting a one day consultative advanced broker training workshop for accredited healthcare brokers. This in response to the request by healthcare brokers who attended the induction workshop for a more advanced programme. The workshop will be hosted at a cost of R800.00 per person. The topics outlined below will be addressed:

1. Scheme financial soundness
2. Scheme governance
3. PMB definition project
4. Healthcare Costs
5. Overview of Non-healthcare Costs
6. Review of the CMS appeal cases and Amendments to the FAIS Act

Please note: The venue for the training will ONLY be communicated to delegates who have registered and confirmed attendance.

FPI members will be in a position to claim an approved number of CPD points.
